The history shows us that since 300 before J.C, hazelnut is cultivated on the littoral of the Black Sea, in the north of Turkey. Thus, Turkey, with 75% of the world production, is the 1st hazelnut producer. During the last 6 centuries the hazel nut was exported towards other countries.
